Damn fine coffee!

This last week almost felt never ending due this cold I'm still trying to get over. Spencer and I shared a wonderful couple's massage by Faye and Eric at Aqua Terra Massage. If you live in Portland, or are just swinging through, it's well worth a visit. It was Spencer's first, and by far, my best massage ever! It probably didn't help my cold, but I'm not complaining (or am I?).

Erika, who I tattooed last year on her visit from San Fransisco, came back for some more cloudberries and a Twin Peaks tattoo. I had so much fun with this, and I would love to do more Twin Peaks related tattoos! Thank you Erika, you're a trooper!

I started a sacred heart on Karla, which is different from a lot of the stuff I usually do. But I had so much fun during our session, and I can't wait to work on it some more. Thanks Karla!

I started these peonies on Cat a few weeks ago, and she came in to get it worked on some more. I don't usually do black and grey, so I'm excited about the way this is turning out. I can't wait to see it healed. Finish in two weeks!

I had some prints made, and both of these are now up for sale in my Etsy shop! A huge thank you to everyone that has already picked up a set! :)

I also have some other exciting news! Spencer and I are going on a road trip, starting off with the Salt Lake City Tattoo Convention, March 9-11th! Seth Ciferri and I are sharing a booth, and Spencer will also be there selling his coils. If you would like to schedule something with me, send me an email at

After SLC, Spencer and I are headed to Las Vegas to visit family and friends. And then...Disneyland! I've never been there, so I have no idea what to expect. Especially since I grew up in Norway. I'm sure visiting Disneyland is gonna be unreal though. I can't wait!

Until next time,

If you didn't know already, today was Mothers Day in Norway. Gratulerer med morsdagen, mamma!
I unfortunately didn't have time to finish this painting for my mom, get glass cut for the frame, and ship it off to Norway in time. But here's a picture of the unfinished Mothers Day gift for my mamma.

It's been a busy last two weeks at work, and I am so lucky to have such lovely clients. I'm working on a lot of fun pieces at the moment. Koa got some shading and color added to her bunny portrait. One more session to go!

I also colored in Alicia's cuckoo clock. I had a lot of fun with this one!

Andrew might be Taylor Swift's biggest fan, so he got a Matryoshka in tribute of her.

Molly added a whole garden of roses to her upper arm. Very much in progress, I can't wait to add color to this.

And what better way to start my work week today than to work on Krista's arm. I'm having too much fun with this one. I'm really happy with the way this one is turning out. One more session on this one I think!

Krista got me one of the most thoughtful gifts I've ever received, and it totally made my whole day, if not the whole week! Thank you Krista!

Chelsea stopped by for some cute little Valentines hearts, and let me snap a photo of her healed beet lady while she was in.

May 4-6th,  Jenn Small and I are sharing a booth with Kevin Stress and Richard Cook at the Columbus Hell City Tattoo Convention. I'm already booked all day Friday, and most of the day Saturday and Sunday. I can fit one person in after 8pm on Saturday and one person in after 4pm on Sunday. If you would like to schedule something you can email me at
Jenn is also taking appointments at this time, so if you want to schedule something with her, send her an email at

We're both really excited, and we hope to see you there!

Until next time,
