Up for grabs!

I had some time to work on drawings this last week for upcoming tattoos, and even some just for fun!
I added a new category under the "my work" section in the upper right hand corner of the page where I will be posting sketches and drawings that I would love to tattoo.

The Matryoshka is already taken, and I will be adding that to the lovely Emily Brewer's growing tattoo collection on Tuesday. I'm stoked! The other two are still up for grabs!

I started a fun piece on a pretty lady, who just happens to love unicorns just as much as I do. I can't wait to finish this one!

Speaking of pretty ladies, I also tattooed my super cute friend Sarah. This tattoo was super fast, and super simple, but so much fun. I would love to do more stuff like this in the future!

Spencer and I scored big time when we stopped by Sidestreet Gallery last week. It's right around the corner from where we live, and it just so happens to be one of my favorite stores to visit here in Portland. We got VIP treatment and were lucky to search through the bins in the back of the store, filled with treasures that had yet to be put up for sale. We both love this time of year, and Halloween specifically. And we felt so lucky to have spent nearly an hour playing with a ton of vintage items. These are the ones that we decided needed to come home with us.

I wouldn't be lying if I said a lot of these treasures will be kept out all year, and not just for the season.

I came across these goodies today at Hawthorne Vintage. How about those sport tat-oos, and that sex panther? If only the prices had been as good as the items themselves.

I'm excited to share that we are adding a new lady to our crew at Scapegoat. Her name is Allyson Bennett. She's cute, and awesome, and she does good tattoos too! Come say hi. She will be at the shop starting tomorrow!

Until next time,
S.

One is never enough.

I don't think I have ever been so happy about today being my Friday before. Waking up at 5am because of a howling dog, just to lay awake for the next four hours, and then going to work on nothing but two hours of sleep. Yeah that sucked. My week wasn't all terrible though. It was actually a really good one. If not one of the best!

Spencer's adorable mom and step dad spent a few days in Portland last weekend. At the market they ran into Derek, who might just love Matryoshkas as much as I do. Spencer's mom sent him my way, and I am so happy that I had time to fit him in. This is what Derek got, to bring back to San Francisco. Safe travels!

I know I've said this before, but I'll say it again- I would be more than happy to do these little dolls all day, every day. You know you want one. How could you not!? And one is never enough!

Jordan and Danielle visited from Tacoma. I did matching envelopes and hearts on them both, and Danielle also sat like a champ for these pretty flowers that she had me put on her hip.

Chris, visiting (and maybe staying for good) all the way from Amsterdam had me do this fun little traditional piece on his arm. Inspired by the Oregon lottery logo. Yes for real. Is he a winner? Probably so.

It looks like summer might be over here in Portland as the temperature has dropped from the mid 90's to the 70's, and the sun hasn't been out in the last couple of days. I scored a pretty serious vintage lunch box last Saturday, and I'm pretty excited that it came with a thermos. I stocked up on some tea at the shop, so bring on the cool fall days!

Sarah told me the other night she'd let me tattoo whatever I wanted on her the following day(to celebrate Patriots day), as long as it's red, white, and blue. I thought, "I can hang with that", so I gave her a white trash flesh rip Norwegian flag. Never forget. Valhalla.

Sarah also helped Brian pack for Europe. On opposite day.

Until next time,

S.

It's been a while

After almost two years in Portland I finally went to The Rose Garden a few weeks ago, and I am so glad I did. Endless drawing reference photo opportunities!

We've had some incredible weather here lately, which called for a few river trips. I went to the Washougal with some lovely ladies, we celebrated Spencers birthday, and experienced a crazy overcast day caused by a huge fire.

I've tattooed some pretty lovely people lately. Traci and Patrick visited from California for Vida Vegan Con. I had the best time tattooing them.

Erika and Jordan, were also here for the vegan blogger convention. Erika got a tattoo of cloudberries to honor her Swedish heritage, and Jordan a portrait of her cranky cat, Lucy.

I also started a few tattoos on some cute local ladies. My friends Elsbeth, Kati, and Annie.

Annie knitted me a tiny sock for national sock month. How cute is that!

Christian got a fun Dan Rick piece, and Jeff a geometrical bull.

I recently moved, and despite the pets over heating, I'm happy. I've also taken up another hobby, terrarium building!

Now I just need chilly fall weather so I can feel motivated to paint again :)

Until next time! <3
